These Cinnamon Pecans are a simple and easy snack to make and they taste delicious too!
Ingredients:
3 cups pecan halves
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
2 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Place the sugar, water and cinnamon in a frying pan on medium heat. Stir continuously to prevent the sugar from burning (this only takes a few minutes). Add the pecans. Stir to coat and continue stirring the pecans until they become dry. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before storing in a container or ziplock bag.
Variation: In addition to the cinnamon, add in 1/2 tsp paprika and 1 tsp cumin for a more "Mediterranean " flavor.
