Wacky Brownies

These Wacky Brownies are moist and delicious, non-dairy (parve), and completely egg-free! Make these for your next party, snack, or just to binge on in the middle of the night when the kids are all asleep.


Ingredients:

1 c sugar

½ c oil

2 Tbsp vinegar

2 tsp baking soda

1 c flour

¾ tsp salt

c cocoa powder

¼ c chocolate chips

1 tsp cornstarch

½ tsp vanilla

¼ c water

 

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, oil, vanilla, vinegar, and water.  Add in the baking soda, flour, salt, cocoa powder, and corn starch.  Fold in the chocolate chips.  The batter will be a cookie dough consistency. Press the batter into a prepared 8x8 pan.  Place in the oven and bake until the brownies are set and no longer jiggle, 20-30 minutes depending on your oven.  Cool, cut, and serve.
